I'm Delano Wallace. I build the infrastructure service businesses run on.
That's the short version. The longer one is that I'm a Jamaican operating globally — working with clients across Jamaica, the US, and the rest of the world. Most of my work happens in the structural layer of a business that almost nobody talks about, but everything else depends on.
I didn't start out thinking about systems.
I started out watching service businesses fail in slow motion. Not because their offers were bad, not because the owners weren't working hard — most of them were doing both well. They were failing because nothing was connected. Service providers spending heavily on ads, hiring agencies, chasing tactics. And every few months, back at zero. No retained audience. No usable data. No compounding advantage. Just activity without infrastructure.
The moment it clicked for me was realizing that most of these businesses weren't underperforming. They were operating on borrowed systems. Renting their audience from platforms, renting their visibility from agencies, renting their leads from ad networks. The day any one of those rentals stopped, the business stopped.
That shifted everything.
I stopped thinking in terms of campaigns and started thinking in terms of three things: ownership — of audience, data, and distribution; systems, not tools; and compounding over time, not short-term wins. Those three ideas are still the core of how I work. Most of what I do for clients comes back to one of them.
In 2020, my partner Rahel and I founded Publishing Rebel — the firm that delivers most of the work that comes out of an audit. My role there is the architecture; the team handles the build. That separation is intentional, and it's how I'm able to stay focused on the diagnostic work that the audits require.
I'm based in Jamaica. I work with realtors and service businesses across the island, and with service businesses across the US and the rest of the world. Every market equally, with no preference. The frameworks travel. What changes is the texture: the platforms, the regulations, the way people actually buy. The audit is built to surface those differences before any work begins.
Outside of work, I read litRPG obsessively, raise one precious daughter from a quiet corner of St. Mary, eat far too well, and write code for things I want to exist that don't yet. I'd rather build than talk about building, which is probably why this page is shorter than most.
